The hearings were terminated, because NK Rosneft plc requested the Constitutional Court of Russian Federation to judge on constitutionality of the law on joint stock companies. Navalny's appeal for wrongful termination was upheld by the Federal arbitration court of Moscow Circuit.

On December 10, 2010, the Presidium of the Supreme Arbitration Court of Russia examined the draft of the letter of information on the rights of minority shareholders to get information about business activities of their company. Such letter has been drafted after a series of hearings on the cases regarding the information, particularly Navalny's action against Rosneft.

The Presidium ruled that a company can refuse providing a minority shareholder with information on the grounds that the shareholder has already filed a request and got all relevant elucidation or the shareholder has abused their right to get information.

Aleksey Navalny has already filed suits against Gazprom plc, Sberbank Rossii plc and AK Transneft plc. The arbitration court of Moscow has left the suit against AK Transneft without consideration. The court examination of the sue against Sberbank was stopped, because the bank agreed to provide all necessary information.
