Tver court of Moscow has arrested 11 current accounts and two credit cards of Andrey Borodin, ex-president of Bank of Moscow. Maximum amount on one of the accounts is 72.2 million rubles. His country house and land plots have also been arrested.

Also, according to The Russian Mafia web-site (rumafia.com), when he was head of Bank of Moscow, Borodin was involved in a fraud worth 24 million rubles to buy himself and his mother luxury cars. The head of the bank granted a loan to Transavtoservis and used the money to purchase the two Bentleys. For himself the banker bought a luxurious Bentley Supersport Coupe the price of which is estimated at $ 13 million rubles. For hiss mother Borodin acquired a Bentley Continental Flying Spur worth over 11 million.

The issued loan has not been paid up. Transavtoservis is on the verge of bankruptcy and Borodin fled abroad. So now the cars will be sold by auction in order to reimburse the funds spent inappropriately. Cars have already been put on sale in one of Moscow's showrooms.

A four-room apartment of Dmitry Akulinin, former top manager of Bank of Moscow, is also under arrest.
