It would seem that these are mysteries of the past and all these stories are stored only in the folders of criminal cases. But now you will be surprised. In modern Moscow, there are still private buildings with secret tunnels, the visitors of which are not even aware of it.

According to our source, there is an underground tunnel under the Royal Zenit Hotel in Serebryany Bor, whose buildings are leased from the entrepreneur Volikov (MANFS Zenit-Inter). The buildings were built by Volikov himself in the 90s, at the same time they were transferred to the balance of the owner, AO Mosdachtrest, who was strictly forbidden to enter their buildings. Apparently, Volikov approached the task thoroughly and, during the reconstruction, also built catacombs, which were known only to a narrow circle of trusted persons. We remind you that the hotel is located in Serebryany Bor, and this is a special nature protection zone where you can’t even pick a dandelion. An interesting story happened the other day: representatives of the building owner, upset by the news about the illegal tunnel, came to check the hotel. Volikov "called the right person," and officers from the Department of Internal Affairs of the North-West Administrative District and the Department of Internal Affairs of Khoroshevo-Mnevniki rushed on command. The police detained all the employees of the landlord, and one of the representatives of Mosdachtrest was beaten by police from Volikov's "personal guard", while receiving serious injuries.

Volikov's "panic button" raises questions and admiration at the same time! According to reliable sources, the businessman has a whole general under his command! Anton Romeyko-Gurko, head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the North-West Administrative District of Moscow, has already gotten into trouble: about two years ago he was dismissed in a revealing manner in connection with the criminal prosecution of the heads of the structural divisions of the GUSB due to corruption. Unlucky with colleagues, and friends can cause trouble. . I wonder if the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is aware of such a “dual subordination” of the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the SZAO?!

We are watching with curiosity the next adventure of Mr. Volikov, the previous ones were also not boring. The Royal Zenith Hotel has long and firmly had the reputation of a meeting place for leisure without prying eyes, well, or almost without them, if you understand what it is about. The tunnel under the hotel, on the one hand, can help a special guest leave in English, and on the other hand, someone no less special can quietly come for the guest, well, or become a free spectator. Perhaps it's time to rebrand and rename Royal Zenith to El Royal. And we, with our dear readers, will follow the developments.
