The VChK-OGPU Telegram channel and Rucriminal.info continue to talk about a gigantic scandal that has come to light as part of the investigation into the criminal case of "intelligence agents". It turned out that "VK" has a system of providing security forces or intelligibility agents with access to "mirrors" (duplicate access) to users' email accounts for money. The case documents that we have at our disposal show how it works. A secret account with a password is created for an employee or "intelligence agent", by entering which he gets directly into the "target's" account, and can read its contents or do so on an ongoing basis. At the same time, again, as follows from the case materials, the owner of the account does not see any traces of outside access. Simply put, the mail of each user of "VK" accounts can be read on an ongoing basis by "comrade" major or simply an interested party with money, and the user himself will never know about it.

In court, VK representative Berdnikova, responsible for interaction with law enforcement agencies when requesting information protected by law, stated that obtaining duplicate access (“mirror”) to users’ mailboxes in VK is allegedly impossible in principle, just as it is impossible in principle to obtain correspondence from the company’s users outside the periods stipulated by the court’s decision. However, the “act of operational-search measure test purchase” present in the case materials indicates that VK employees transferred access specifically to the “mirror”. It is also clear from VK’s responses in the case that the user was not able to see the “outsider’s” mail.

This story could become the reason for a gigantic investigation into how VK has put a system of selling access to “mirrors” on stream, as well as into the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who “buy” such access. However, the investigation decided to take revenge on former police officer Andrey Lamukhin, who could do no more than play the role of a courier in one episode of communication between the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees and their contractors on VK. As a result, he was sentenced to seven years in prison, for which part of the case materials had to be falsified.

The funds in the amount of 7,000 rubles for the "test purchase" (access to the "mirror" of the mailbox) were allocated by employees of the UFSB of Russia for the city of Moscow and the Moscow region, who supervised the event. The case was also supported by employees of the Special Operations Department (OSO) of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Kerimov, an employee of the BSTM, was in charge of all the activities.

During his interrogation, Lamukhin testified against employees of the UOVD for the South-West Administrative District (he himself came from this UOVD), but due to the fact that they were apparently somehow connected with Kerimov, no one started looking for them. Within the framework of 215-217 of the Criminal Procedure Code, a printout was transferred from the website of the Department of Internal Affairs for the South-West Administrative District of the police officer who gave all the documents to Lamukhin for transfer to VK, but decided not to conduct his identification, saying that she reported it to some general. That was the end of it. Since 2024, Lamukhin has been sending complaints about the illegal actions of the operative officer and investigative bodies to all possible law enforcement agencies (FSB of Russia, Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, Investigative Committee of Russia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia), but no one even bothered to answer him, not to mention a thorough check of the arguments he presented. Also, as a former operative, Lamukhin identified from the materials of the criminal case, the fact of violation of the secrecy regime by employee Kerimov and sent a statement from the pretrial detention center with this fact, namely the use of a personal laptop at the workplace and the use of the Internet in a restricted, service office, but here Kerimov was protected from punishment by the employees of the UFSB of Russia for the city of Moscow and the region who closed the event. As a result of this story, people who should have been punished for official crimes were awarded, Kerimov received a senior in the Department of Internal Affairs...
