According to the VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, the Federal Protective Service is evicting residents from a dorm in Lyubertsy. The building was acquired by the FSO as part of a scheme involving the embezzlement of funds for the reconstruction of Putin's residence in Novo-Ogaryovo. Residents of the dorm are trying to challenge the eviction in court, but their chances are slim.
In 2017, a high-profile criminal case was opened regarding the embezzlement of 1.267 billion rubles during the reconstruction of Putin's residence in Novo-Ogaryovo "by multiplying the cost of equipment and materials used for construction."
Charges were brought against Andrei Kaminov, Director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Atex" of the Federal Protective Service; Major General Igor Vasiliev, Head of the FSO Engineering and Technical Support Service; Dmitry Ulitin, Lieutenant Colonel of the FSO; Boris Maltsev, former CEO of "Climate Prof"; Sergei Litvinov, former Director of "Stroyfasad"; Dmitry Sergeyev, Head of "Baltstroy"; Sergei Perevalov and Alexander Rodionov, top managers of "Climate Prof"; Stanislav Kyuner, CEO of "Stroyfasad"; Dmitry Torchinsky, Head of "Stroykomplekt"; and St. Petersburg oligarch Dmitry Mikhalchenko. The state seized 4 billion rubles worth of assets from Mikhalchenko for this case. Following his arrest, Mikhalchenko also lost the newly constructed Bronka port.
As for ATEX Federal State Unitary Enterprise, it was decided to declare it bankrupt, and before that, to withdraw all its assets. As a result, in 2022, the Nikulinsky Court ordered the transfer of all of the FSUE's real estate to the operational management of the Federal Protective Service (FSO). Among the properties was a dormitory in Lyubertsy. It's an ordinary five-story building (pictured), occupied by residents. And now, three years later, all the residents of the five-story building have received eviction notices from the FSO. Why the special services would need a building occupied by people is a mystery. According to some reports, the building and its land may be sold to a construction company actively developing Lyubertsy.
Now, the dormitory residents have filed a petition with the Nikulinsky Court to reinstate the missed deadline for appealing the 2022 court decision. They want to overturn the court order transferring the building to the operational management of the FSO. However, given the defendant, their chances are slim.
